I was inspired to create Lost in Space whilst exploring the game design process. After conducting market research, I learned that some individuals reported regularly using a Gameboy at night claiming their simplistic controls as the perfect low-stimulus activity to wind down.

This led me to create a game theme with limited stimulation through its difficulty and aesthetics in order to be easily played at night.
